On Bill Nye's show, I learned that 65 million years ago an asteroid hit the Earth, and all Dinosaurs were wiped out. One big chunk of the asteroid flew off into space. As it did the zero gravity shaped it into a sphere and stopped in orbit. That sphere became the moon. Before that dinosaurs used Jupiter's moons.
Today, we use the moon that was given to us by that one astroid 65 million years ago.
